The mission trips are a collaborative process involving the input of the team in Kenya who primarily performs the patient selection. It is indeed possible to donate for a specific patient but the process would need to involve the team in Kenya in identifying the patient and communicating with them. It is also possible to make a donation for a specific surgical procedure which would then be guided by selection of specific experts here in the US and linking them with their counterparts in Kenya.
